When you can get it out sock it with WD 40. I guess I got lucky. I taped what was left of the old one out with a new one. The PITA part was lining up the holes on the auger with the one in the drive shaft.

All back to normal ,just got the driveway plowed ,a local guy has a hobby/blueberry business on the backend of his property ,and he needs the tractor to keep it clear in winter so its accessable early spring . He has regulular snow removal customers and didn't really have the time ,but made an excption ,one of Darlenes sister is a regular customer so he did a favor!

I just had a bit of a puzzler. The Pi Cam for my 3D printer went offline and I couldn't ping it or anything.

Turns out that the Pi automagically changed its IP address on startup. I have never seen that happen before. Time to SSH in and see if the networking parameters are set to DHCP or not. I want a static address that never changes.

I configured my Motion Eye Camera setups for static IP's. I didn't want to be dealing with multiple moving targets.
Camera one is 101, camera two 102 etc. My router assign's the dynamic IP's below 100.

I thought that I had done that. I did it with the first one (where the Pi blew up), but I must have missed that crucial detail. I have a head like Swiss cheese sometimes.

That let me add an external antenna.
The square base is an Adafruit PC Circuit Board Coaster, I got free with my last order.
The Antenna and cable is something I saved while scrapping some other hardware.
Before the modification I got about a half dozen detected networks. =)
    It's double red X's because I haven't connected to a network.

So let me get this to sink into my tiny little brain...

The Pi 4B has a WIFI module? Really?
