Curisous ,are you a part of the world sensor community ,a very large community in one part of the world Sensor Community
No, I don't presently send any weather data to the cloud etc. I may go that route at some point, have to get it all working first though.
Just about finished taking down and packing away all the indoor Christmas decorations. All the outside stuff came down before the last storm. Once that's all done I plan on getting back to some Pi stuff. I have a few things I want to tinker with to pass away the stuck in the house hours, lol.
I somehow misplaced / lost my Pi stuff thumb drive. It was really handy for new installs etc as it has all my tweaks and cheats on it. Lots of how to's too. Guess I'll have to make up a new one.
took our stuff down on monday ,inside and out ,dont have much outside ,just a 3ft Nativity and a string of light on the step rail , family went back to bedford Sunday ,It was the best christmas for us ,having or 3 1/2 yr old Grandaughter with us ,she has a great sence of humor ,unbelievable for a child her age ..Darlen was singing and Maren said with a waving finger ,Noooo Grannie I gave you a bad review ! ,, I will be starting over from scratch ,trying to learn the Pico ,and get some Pi Pico stuff done, using Dr.Simon Monks online book https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/01...f?v=1638957187 Then I'll setup some Pi Zero's and headers ,and then I'll work on a outside Camera setup , so i'm good for a year or so ,LOL
Found my missing thumb drive. I'm likely going the PICO route for now with my new weather setup. For the outside wind sensor / measuring end anyway. I'll be programming it from my Pi 400. I have just enough room to do my (inside for now) temporary testing setup, right next to my Pi 400.
Lots of code out there for it, Pi wise. Not so much PICO Micro Python code though. I'm hoping it isn't too hard to convert one to the other.
should get some chilly temps with that ,It's -9.1 over here right now.

That's pretty cool, I can see me buying at least one some time down the road.
Did a little tinkering today. Plugged my custom modified pHat Stack into my Pi 400. Then all my Breakout Garden related stuff was plugged into that. It's a mock up of the indoor part of the puzzle. The indoor BME280, SPI LCD display(s) and some other sensors. Some of its on Proto Zero's and some on a Breakout Garden Hat. I had removed it and plugged in a Pi Zero, now its back on the Pi 400.

I can code on the PICO (what will eventually be outdoors) end of things, and or, the Pi indoor end of things, all on the Pi 400.
The two small 160x80 LCD's were what I had on hand. And the same ones used on the Enviro+, which made using that code easier. So my initial thoughts were one for indoor and one for outdoor. I'm leaning more towards one LCD now though, this one.
Display HAT Mini – Pimoroni
For now I'll just plug it into this.

And plug that into the pHat Stack where the two small displays are now.
I have a birthday coming up next month, and will likely buy a Display Hat Mini then. Been wanting one anyway.
