You should get close to 3A+ performance or match it if you can reach 1.4GHz. Your going to want to add a heatsink so it doesn't throttle the clock back on you.
    Pi 3A+
    Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 (ARMv8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.4GHz
    512MB LPDDR2 SDRAM
    Pi Zero 2 W
Broadcom BCM2835 Arm v7 Quad Core Arm Cortex A53 running at 1 GHz
    512MB LPDDR2 SDRAM

I have to admit,I have one running right now ,my newest Pi4 [THAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS LAST YEAR .]is setup to a monitor and its wired keyboard and mouse on the desk, The stiff cables on the mouse and keyboard drive me nuts ,and the mouse wire is way to long ,I have been working on painting and setting up my PI Desk and shelves ,we have a long winter ahead, will get things done eventually ... lol , my new pi zero was projected to arrive yesterday, but a check of the Canada Post tracking it only made it to Sydney ..

The Zero 2 W has a custom SOC, that needs custom firmware. It's new based on old, lol. The ram is beside the processor not on top like the Pi Zero POP layout. And all in the one package not two separate chips like a 3B or 4B. Buster will run on it, and Bullseye of course. I doubt Jessie will run.
Doing an apt update, apt full-upgrade before moving the SD card to the Zero 2 W will likely get you a working system.
