Right now is when I wish I had it all setup and working. Missy is growling at something "she" sees out the living room window. My stock Pi Camera can't see it, its just too dark out. If that array of IR LED's works I'll have a night vision camera. I have a Pi V2 NOIR camera here that I hope will see just enough in landscape mode. I just want to be able to see my front lawn, sidewalk etc. The part she is on when she is tied up out front.

Yeah, make a list of what you might want to part with. If I see something I'd like I'll make you a fair deal for it.

Getting ready just in case the power fails when this bad weather arrives. Got my laptop fully charged so I can play some games to kill time, lol. Also charged up my MP3 player. Dug out all my power banks and charged those too, I can run my Pi weather display off of those. Also put my Pico with Lipo shim on my PICO weather monitor. Just had to take the main.py off one Pico and put it on another. The Lipo shim is soldered to that Pico.
I'm really happy I built my graphing setup. When the pressure takes its dive I'll see it happen in real time.

Powered up my IR LED array. It worked, nice and bright, maybe a bit too bright though? The LED's started getting hot so I shut it down. Just finished reworking it for trial no 2. I went with 2 in series and a current limiting resistor. Instead of 3 in series and no resistor.
These IR LED's are different than standard LED's. Lower voltage and higher current.
    Regular LED's are around 3V and 20ma. The IR LED's are 1.6V and 100ma.

dont know much about LEDS .I bought this soldering kit for the kids when they come at Christmas .it came with red and green leds ,the one the top of the tree is really bright ,tried a few i had that were a bit dimmer and replace it . it is a nice solder kit .
Christmas Tree Programmable Kit the guide to soldering it was linked to Pi hut

The junction voltage ( the voltage they actually turn on at ) varies by color, and also a little from LED to LED of the same color. If you buy them in packs of more than one, they are usually pretty close color wise and voltage wise.

I don't know? You can edit that post and remove any uploaded images. I don't know if that also removes any stored copies on the server though?
