I run Motion Eye OS, Release 20200606 . ccrisan/motioneyeos . GitHub
It's a bit of a pain to setup, it needs an ethernet connection on the first boot up. If it doesn't get one it just reboots until it does.
On the plus side, it will show you what IP address it gets on the monitor. Then you just type that ip address into your browser to log in, turn on its wifi, and then set it up for your wifi. Then ditch the ethernet.
Why I like it is you can access the video feed from a browser on your PC or Pi over your LAN with no having to stream to the internet first. On a Pi all you have to type into Chrome is the IP address it adds the http stuff for you. I setup static IP's for mine 192.168.0.101 is camera 1, 192.168.0.102 is camera 2 etc.
Log in as admin, no password, and tick the remember me button. You can set a password if you want, I don't bother. Nobody else can view them without you wifi password.
Just ordered about $100 CAN in stuff from Pimoorni. A lot of it was on sale, some stuff was 30 or 25 % off. Saved 30 bucks or so, on what I bought.
Breakout Garden stuff mostly. I needed an i2c Breakout Garden Mini for my Pi 400 setup. I got the hat for 25% off, I'll put it in place of a mini I have on a pHat Stack. Then put the mini on my Pi 400. I also got one of the 0.96" SPI Color LCD (160x80) Breakouts for that setup. I want to run my modified Enviro code on it. It was 30% off. The display will be used with an LTR-559 Light & Proximity Sensor Breakout 35% off and a BME280 Breakout 25% off. The Pi 400 will have an SPI Mini Breakout Garden and i2c Mini Breakout Garden on the Flat Hat Hacker. That gives me 1 SPI and 5 i2c sockets to play with.
Also bought an SPI Breakout Garden Extender Kit (3 pairs) 25% off.
SPI Breakout Garden Extender Kit (3 pairs) – Pimoroni
My plan is to mount two on a Proto Zero using SPI 0 for my own custom side by side Breakout Garden SPI pHat. I have two of the 0.96" SPI Color LCD's wired up and working that way, just can't swap them for a different display. They are soldered in place. If I put the sockets as far apart as possible I should be good for two of the 1.54" SPI Color Square LCD (240x240) Breakouts. Maybe even bigger displays if that happens?
I ordered a dozen things and all but two were on sale. And the two that weren't on sale were headers etc that were less than 2 bucks anyway.

Great stuff ,I'm trying to read and understand it all, I had my meds dosage increased a few weeks ago and I dont know what happened, but yesterday it went kind of crazy and i'm all ****ed up and confused ,wake half the night last night shaking and tossing and turning .. Its calming down now,,I went to town and got pizza for supper ,having a beer and party mix right now ,that should fix it ,LOL enjoy the new stuff when it arrives !,
I've had side effects from some of my meds. Some I stopped taking as a result. Usually its new (to me) stuff the doctor wants me to try.
I had a firm $100 budget, so that sale let me get a couple extra things and still get in under budget. =)
I got my replacement PICO RGB Keypad base today. :) Same i2c pullup issue in Circuit Python though.

I e-mailed Phil and got this in the response.
if it's any consolation, whilst their replacement was travelling across the Atlantic we've now
• * altered the test so it checks the pull ups
• * visually checked every one in the building and removed the faulties
• * changed the landings on the next round of PCBs so that resistor net sticks on better
Hey @caperjack Jack, you might want to make sure yours has the correct pullups on it before your 30 day return period runs out.
I have three here in front of me now. The one I got from you that is fully functional with the correct pullups.
The replacement for the one I ordered that had the bad LED, that is now fully functional after I added my own pullups.
And the replacement for that one that has the same incorrect pullups on it that I haven't touched, and won't work in Circuit Python.
They all work just fine in Micro python and run the demo.py just fine. It's only in Circuit Python where the error shows up.
don't know what a pullup is,except for the one i'll end up using at nightime in a few yrs ,lol ,will check out a howto later. TY
