I couldn't get it to work? This is a bit frustrating. All there is for the PICO RGB Keyboard Base is a demo.py file that is for Micro Python. And there is no USB HID support for the PICO in Micro Python. There is in Circuit Python, but then I can't use the Pimoroni libraries or code example? I have to hunt up the Adafruit libraries for the LED's and keyboard decoder. I haven't given up just yet, might put it on hold though and see if USB Hid support shows up in Micro Python. I think I'll e-mail Phil for more info.

Been following your rgb keypad topic on the pimoroni forum, came across this on github ,so I dont understand it all ,but he writes .
"I have a project for Keybow 2040 and I needed it to run on Pico RGB Keypad Base. So I added support for it to this library" its still in circuitpython , if im reading it right It will only work for what he's doing with his code ..so not sure if its of any help to you!

I finally got it to work. I have two RGB keypads, one works Ok in Circuit Python and the other doesn't. Both work fine in Micro Python.

All the files you need and the install instructions are here. Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

EDIT: You will still have to read the Keybow tutorial etc to code what you want each key to do. The above just gets it working as a Hid device running the Keybow OS image. I will be tackling that in the near future. I'll post that code as I go.

Mine shows up as USB HID Keyboard in Device manger on my Windows PC.
I have no idea where you look to check that on a Pi in Linux?
If you have used that Pi with Micro Python it probably wouldn't hurt to to use the flash_nuke uf2 first, to wipe it clean.
