I have a couple of the original Black Hat hack3r boards. Some Hack3r Mini's, and one of the new Hat Hacker Hats. I use them quit a bit, Two pHat Stacks too. The Pi 400's unusual GPIO header orientation makes you think about how your going to get it done.

for me using them will come when I get to using the Pi's and in a permeant setup ,its likely I have too many of them ,so if you find yourself needing any, check with me first if you want

Half or more of my Mini Black Hat boards are in permanent setups. And one pHat Stack is my itty bitty beat box. I find them handy for testing new pHats and Hats I have just bought. I attach a Pi Zero to the ribbon cable header. I just use a female header on the back side of the Zero instead of a male on the top side. No need for the ribbon cable that way. If I use a female 90 the Pi Zero is pointing up with easy access to the HDMI and USB ports. Works with the pHat Stack too.

I will read that again a few times with the parts in front of me for me to see it ,that way I can understand what is meant,, I'm thick as a brick as they say . I have one of these, the brown one ,I soldered in a female header in when putting it together Awhile back now, I set it up to do the intersection Street light's ,it worked I put it away ,never touched it since , one of these days I'll set it up again soon and leave it running . it works out great for when you have something with an environmental sensor, like a BME280 etc. The heat given off by the Pi Zero is minimal, compared to any other Pi. And the heat source is on the other side of the Pi, away from the Phat or Hat. Next to no impact on ambient air temperature readings etc.

I've been waiting and waiting for something like this to finally show up.
Wind and Rain Sensors for Weather Station (Wind Vane / Anemometer / Ra – Pimoroni
I will be buying one in the very near future. Will have to figure out if I'm going Raspberry Pi, Pi PICO, or maybe Arduino?
I'm thinking micro controller though to be more reliable and not get messed up by power failures. The Sparkfun MicroMod RP2040 (PICO) is looking good to me.
