yeah, I got frigged up with similar error last year .. We didn't go to Halifax on the weekend because of the increased Covid cases down there ... so could I borrow your VGA cable until I get hers ..We have to go to Sydney tomorrow afternoon I could drop in and get it thanks, some time after 2pm . Darlene getting covid shot at Canada Games complex

Yeah, and it appears I got billed twice for the duty on that Adafruit parcel. Loomis Express billed me and DHL billed me. I've been on the phone all morning trying to sort it out. In the end after playing phone tag I had to send an e-mail and now I'm just waiting on a reply to that. If I had looked a bit more closely at the second bill and realized what parcel it was for I wouldn't have paid it.

ok, it will be after 2pm some time , I got my Pfizer ,first shot last tuesday.

I got my first shot last week at the Medicine Shop. Carolyn got hers a couple of weeks ago. We got the Pfizer one.

Pico's not working tonight ,both doing the same thing , when i drop the uf2 file onto the pico drive ,the drive disappears ,both Pico's and on 2 different computers

thanks .I thought for sure that it showed as a second drive. and I dropped the thonny file on it ,I'll have to pin a "how to" ,note to the wall I guess ,lol

That's supposed to happen, if its a Micro Python uf2. When you drop the file onto them they automatically reboot, that puts them back out of bootloader mode and into normal mode. In normal mode they don't show up as a drive. Thonny will still be able to use them though. And you can save you python file to them from Thonny, just be sure to save it as main.py. That being said, you don't have to rename and save your python file to them, to run it and or test it on them. If you run it in Thonny it runs on the PICO. If Thonny has been set correctly that is. It should be showing Micro Python (Raspberry Pi PICO) or something like that, in the lower right hand corner.

I think the VGA Demo Base is going to be even harder to get it to do something

I do believe it shows up as a drive with Circuit Python. With Micro Python and (I think) C it doesn't show up.

Thanks for the vga cable . not going anywhere with it ,it opened and I dropped the UF2 file ,then nothing , I don't even get a led lit on the pico
