    yeah, It was just a link to my google pictures ,, It didn't work out the way i wanted so i scrapped it ,back to square one

    Hmm,,, not sure what's going on with the time? Unless I accidentally edited the dateString line? It's the first line under the while True:
    Python strftime reference cheatsheet
    It should be
    dateString = "%A %B %-d %-I:%M:%p"

    %A Weekday as locale’s full name.
    %B Month as locale’s full name.
    %-d Day of the month as a decimal number. (Platform specific)
    %-I Hour (12-hour clock) as a decimal number. (Platform specific)
    %M Minute as a zero-padded decimal number.
    %p Locale’s equivalent of either AM or PM.

    finally got in and checked ,it all is ,as you posted above , running now it thinks its Sat the 18 1:22 pm, ,, its should be 8:54am and sunday

    It's not maybe 12 hours off, saying AM when it PM, and PM when its AM?

    maybe I went through a vortex [or however it spelt ]on the way home the other day ,lol i'm in another demention .lol edit ,just boot to desktop the clock says it 1:43 pm and the date is 12/18/21

    Ok, try this. Connect to your WIFI (via your dongle).
    Wait for it to update to the correct time.
    Then from terminal run
    sudo hwclock -w
    sudo hwclock -r

    That should put the correct time back in the RTC.

    ok , I'll try that after abit ,I need a break right now .. up at 6am again today ,hopefully that doesn't become my new normal ,

    6 AM? That's sleeping in for me. I'm usually up by 5 AM, awake since 4 430. I walk Missy at 7 AM every morning.

    ok ,back to normal ,didn't need to do that last bit .

    run
    sudo hwclock -w
    sudo hwclock -r

    I think everynight I say to myself I'm getting up early and go for a walk around the block but it hasnt happened yet ,its almost 2 klm ,a lot of people from bras d'or and sydney mines and north sydney drive here to walk it ,not as much since there paved . so tomorrow i it not raning i'm going walking ,
