That Pi doesn't have WIFI, its an A+. It doesn't need it for what its doing. It has a DS3231 RTC to keep track of the date and time. It also has a BME280 for the environmental info. I didn't like the readings the sensors on the sense hat were giving me, and I had a spare BME280.
You can set it to boot to the Desktop Gui by running raspi-config, or load the desktop with sudo startx. I installed the full Pi OS, I just set it to boot to command line to speed up booting up etc. The A+ is about as fast as a Pi Zero V1. I used it because I had one and it lines up nicely fit wise with the Proto Hat and Sense Hat.
The THP.py file on it is codded for the BME280, not the Sense Hat sensors. Joystick up down is display brightness, down is dimmed, up is full bright. Center press is shutdown.

It is a really neat setup for sure ,worth more than the few things I gave you for it . I will leave it alone before i break it .. I was using a wifi dongle ,I didnt realise it was connecting to the net ,should have been paying closer attention , I will leave well enough alone ,lol ,I got up a 5am today ,I usually get up around 10am,couldn't get back to sleep . its so dark out .lol .

I made it out of bits and pieces I had laying around. Stuff that was just sitting there doing nothing. The Black Ninja Diffusers really make it look good. Nice protection too. The back one came with a Unicorn Hat HD and worked without having to cut to size. The standoffs are from that Adafruit kit with all the different nylon ones of different lengths. I'm liking and using those a lot lately.

    Start of a Pi Camera

Had this old camera for a few yrs ago ,I got it at church fleamarket ,it was still in the box with a book ,it was sold at a Direct Photo Shop that was in the North Sydney Mall back in the 1985 ,I had planing on useing it for a Pi Camera .So last night I took a maul to it .. Pictures to follow . some day ! attaching the Pi Camera will be a little chalance to get it straight ,would be easy if i dremeled off what left of the old camera lense .
10 photos ,was easies way i found to attach them . Google Photos

On the topic of Pi Camera's, I can see me getting one of these.
    StereoPi v2 Standard – Pimoroni

One standard camera for the daytime and a NOIR for night viewing. I'd get the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 - Wireless / 4GB RAM / 32GB Storage
