Adafruit sells those LED strips in long lengths, and there are some that can be cut to shorter lengths. Neopixel is I think one wire for the Data and the Dotstare use two, one for clock and one for data.

At some point I'm going to buy one of those spudger gismos. iFixit Jimmy – Pimoroni
I have bought a pack of these, iFixit Opening Tool (pack of 5) – Pimoroni
Great for removing a PICO from an Omnibus, PICO pack or solderless breadboard without bending any pins. It was a pack of 5 so if your intown drop by and I'll give you one. Should also work for removing a Hat or pHat from a Pi.

Reflashed the card in my Pi 400, no issues I am aware of. Imaged that card on my Windows PC via the Pi imager.
I then reimaged the card from my Bread Board rig, on my Pi 400 after installing the imager. sudo apt rpi-imager
That didn't go so well. when I put it back in the Pi 3B+ I got the resizing message and reboot. Then the splash screen, then nothing? Just a flickering backlight on the 7 inch touch screen. I'm going to reimage that card on my PC and try again. and maybe hook up an external monitor.

"If" they have the correct stepping on the CPU. Mine don't so won't get the extra clock speed.
