I have one PICO, a Display Pack, and an Omnibus. The Omnibus is like the pHat Stack, I can plug in one PICO and two addons. I have my Pico Display Pack and the Pico in it at the moment. I ran the display demo and some other code on it. I haven't written any code of my own for the Pico yet.

Soldered up and wired up my two Ultra Bright IR LEDs to my NOIR camera Pi today. Just finished, haven't tested them yet, going to wait till it gets dark. I used one of those Pimoroni mini protoboards they were giving away. Half of one actually by the time I cut it down to fit. I drilled two holes in the diffuser the camera is mounted to, for the LED's to poke through from behind. And stuck the protoboard to the back side with one of those 3M sticky pads. I soldered a slid switch to the protoboard as an on off switch. Not sure I really needed it but what the heck. It wasn't hard to hook up so why not.

I have a couple of Pi's I boot up every day, and a couple that run 24/7. My indoor weather clock runs 24/7, it's in our living room next to the TV so it's no big deal if it runs all night. It's does light the room up a bit but there isn't anybody in there after lights out to be bothered. My 3 LCD weather graphing build runs 24/7 too, but I turn the backlights on the displays off when we go to bed. It's currently in our bedroom. It's where I end up when I'm too sore to sit down anymore.
I have a couple more works in progress in there I tinker on when I'm not too sore. I have a media hutch I use a a dresser on my side of the bed. It's the perfect height to stand at and play around for short stints. I can tinker at it for an hour or two no problem. My Pi400 is there at the moment. I do this all out on my back deck in the summer but this time of year its in my bedroom or our spare room where my computer desk is.
I also have a couple of Pi Camera setups I turn on at sunrise to keep an eye on my dog when she's tied up outside etc. And my Pirate Radio gets used off and on, mostly on the weekend. I do have a couple of builds gathering dust, that's the way it goes some times.

Started at the beginning for me. Will have a look see latter on though when I'm not still half asleep.

My IR LED's didn't work out as planned. They work but not as good as I hoped. They are more of a spot beam than a flood. And not as strong as I was hoping they would be. I used two of these.

They are for remote controls so that's why they have a narrow beam. I'm only out a couple of bucks and a couple hours of tinkering. Still usable, just not what I was hoping for. I may poke around Adafruit for something better.

Getting ready to solder this on ,wondering what you think ,did they soled the middle pin on the pico, I know the resetti dosn't solder to it ,but i cant tell if they solder the middle pico pin before they put the resetti into place if that makes sense, just want to make sure before i solder it .thanks , also i bought 2 resettis ,so if you need/want you can have the other one

That header pin underneath it was soldered, that's why the holes are so big in the Resetti. So it can fit over the already soldered on header pins. You then fill the hole with solder to connect it to the PICO. They only soldered the two outside pins on the Resetti. You could solder all three, the middle hole is touching the pin anyway, but it isn't connected to the button. It's just there because the run and the closest ground have a pin between them.
