I used to be more in use than not in use. I'm probably about 50 50 now. My cameras all all but one in use. I need to do something with my NOIR to get full use. I wired up 2 IR LED's but they aren't really enough. I bought a pack of 20 or something from Adafruit, just need to solder them in a circle on a Proto Board, then put a hole in the middle for the camera lens. I'll mount it on the backside. If I wire them up in series, in groups of 3 I won't have to use any resistors and can run them on 5V. I'm going to try to fit 9 or maybe 12 leds. It's one of those half size proto boards.
I use Motion Eye OS with my cameras. It's a bit of a PITA to setup but I like how it works over my LAN from any device with a browser. You just enter it's IP address into your browser. I can view them on my PI, PC or smart phone.

My plans for the moment are to do some PICO stuff. Explorer Pack first. Then solder up my Lipo Shim and display battery state etc on my Display Pack. I don't have a real use in mind just yet, just want to try a few things and get used to Micro Python on a PICO. I am going to go through the getting started book though. I have the paper copy and the PDF for that.

Just tinkering with it now.
I had to plug the USB cable in,
turn the PICO off via the button on the shim,
press and hold the Boot button, then press the button on the shim to turn it back on,
then release the Boot button and drag and drop my Pimoroni UF2 file.
If the white led on the shim isn't on the Pico isn't on. Just something to get used to and to remember down the road.

Just saved this as main.py and it looks to work as advertised. I didn't have to edit a thing for it to run on my Display pack. It shows "charging" when the USB cable is plugged in. And battery voltage and % left when its actually running on battery. Pressing the button on the LIPO Shim turns the PICO off, even if the USB cable is plugged in. All that's on is the Red charge LED on the shim. and it remembers what state you left it in even if you unplug and replug the USB cable. You have to press the button to turn it on off. That's with a charged working battery, I'm not sure what happens with no battery? The RED LED goes out when the battery is fully charged.

I have my spare RV3028 RTC breakout plugged in. Want to try and do up some kind of clock today. I should have the how to to do that book marked someplace.

I cleared out a couple of "is old news now" links today. I have a long long list of Pi, Arduino, Micro Bit and now PICO links. Putting them into groups in folders helps a bit.
