I think the base drum "is" just a thud sound? I do remember one not being what I expected it to be.

Yeah ,and a low thud, all the time I have had the drum hat , it was only ever played in the phatBeat setup, last night I ran your hat only on a Pi4 and playing through the HDMI and it sounded a whole lot better thud sound , I will redo the "phat beat" setup and try your suggestions .. I always just use there demos for all the stuff I have , might be too late for me but, maybe its time to get adventurous and learn to play with the code ,, to be honest ,Its not something that comes easy to me, in school I never did homework because I had a learning disability ,and grasping what I was reading was hard, and I have to read it over and over ,and then just give up...,and only remember stuff the Teachers said out loud to the class! not having a good day ,took me awhile to get what you meant, the volume of the Pi giving the day i'm having ,that'll have to wait to at least tomorrow,

Yeah, sorry, on the Pi. After you do the speaker phat edits / install, you lose the volume slider. Your basically stuck with what ever it "was" set at. I have a note in my install instructions to turn it up first thing before I do anything.

Enjoy, ,my latest and last order should be here soon ,, So today I started cleaning up my desk and all the shelf's above it ,throwing out everything useless! Things I thought I would use to make Pi things and never did, when that's all done, I'm going to concentrate on the Camera I have ,try to get them all doing something ,that will likely give me something to do till at least Christmas

Too sore from catching up on yard work today to do anything with it tonight. I need to go hunt up some breakouts anyway. This time I actually know what box they are in, and where that box is. =)
