These Hub75 LED Matrix Panels have been a total disappointment, software wise. Well, actually, it's not the panels, its getting the controller to do what I want that has been a total PITA.

If I had the cash I'd buy them. I just spent a fair bit on Pi stuff so it will be a while before I can buy more of that kind of stuff. =(

I have my HUB 75 panels working with my Pimoroni i75 W. It's not what I had originally envisioned, but its not a bad compromise. Relevant info is there, no scrolling text though, =( . It will do for now. I also have the panels mounted, the way I wanted them orientated, in a stand / enclosure. I'll try and get some good pics and post them. Had to settle for:

    Time
    Temp
    Humidity
    Pressure

Nice large easily readable text, and all color coded. Just no descriptors or extra info.

Had a hard time getting a decent picture. Went and got out my Pi 4 with the HD camera and telephoto lens. Even then it was tricky getting the colors to look right. One shows the mounting, the other gets better color, and one of the backside.

I am getting somewhere with these panels. Not where I ideally want to be, but I am making progress. I got scrolling text to work, but its mangled / chopped in how it displays.
    Instead of "my text here......."
    It's
    my text
    here......

Also got the 80's Super Computer example to run on them. Had to settle for 64 x 32, 128 x 64 crashed the RP2040 with a memory error. The second 64 x 32 screen is just a duplicate of the first one. I'll settle for that for now, all 64 x 64 pixels are lit up.

I have been giving the 64 bit Pi OS a go. Loaded it up on my Pi 4B 8gb, and my Pi 400. All the Pimoroni installers I use ran just fine too. The Pi 400 has an RV3028 RTC, the mini trackball, and two SPI LCD's. The 4B has a Blinkt on it showing CPU usage. I was thinking the installers would have an issue with a 64 bit OS but that didn't happen.
