Johnson & Johnson is usually an uber safe company.
They test everything to destruction before releasing it.
I'm wondering if this maybe wasn't some corporate sabotage or something.
I mean J&J makes Baby Shampoo for gawd's sake. Most of their products are well trusted American staples.
When I read about their vaccine being funky... I was like "Oh noes"... the world is ending.
Probably just another de-stabilize America plot. :/
It's a household name in the UK too. Millions of British kids bums have been dusted with their baby powder.

Yeah, they are a pretty well trusted company. Which was one of the reasons we were leaning towards it initially & were surprised to hear about the problems. Although not totally unexpected, being that all the vaccines were rushed out under pressure using new tech.
They might have good quality control on their end, but if someone else manufactures it then they lose some of that control.
Oh definitely. At first we hear it's gonna take at minimum 18 months to come up with a vaccine, and then 9 months later... poof 'here's a vaccine'.
While it's possible to crank out things that fast, I doubt the testing has been beyond reproach.
Good morning everyone. 50F right now and it's supposed to be cloudy with a high of 68F.
New 8TB HDD is happy in my computer, and now has a copy of all my stuff from the 4TB HDD... Karen's Replicator rules!
Well, there's going to be a J & J shortage anyway due to a mix up.
If you're wondering about the specifics, the J & J mix is made at the same facility they make the Moderna at.
Apparently some of Moderna's chems got mixed into the soup that was supposed to be for the J & J.
BTW, this facility in Baltimore has been cited several times over the past few years for safety violations, such as mold, incorrect procedures, general maintenance problems, etc....
Doesn't exactly inspire confidence on my end......
The J&J plant in Baltimore that cooked up the wrong recipe is just s few blocks north of Johns Hopkins Hospital, the folks who tally up the national and world Covid stats.
