And wow at the speed increase using the NVME vs SATA III. Copied my entire data storage folder in seconds haha.

Finally I can have security camera footage being saved and do anything I want on the PC.... and not have my cpu easily fry an egg lol. If I don't forget, I will benchmark this baby tomorrow. Video card will suck obviously, but the rest should look nice.

Posting from AMD Ryzen 5 3600 on a Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING, 32 GB ram, Samsung 980 Pro 1TB Nvme. Using the old MSI 970 4GB video card though. I will upgrade the video at a later date. Spent hours with trouble not getting it to boot. Came down to a new thing on the motherboard that required extra power and not connecting the extra 4 pins.

I'll update my specs tomorrow some time lol. Still have a slew of programs to install. PatchMyPC did a lot of them for me.

Holy cow!!!!!!!! Watching a clip from the security cameras on the old PC would have the cpu at like 50%. Watching Task Manager from the tray watching one now, it is like 10%, if even that

On the same subject... just noticed a BIOS for my motherboard that sounded like a GOOD thing.




I was on the 2702 BIOS. This one just came out (3302). The flash went fine...and nothing blew up.








Now I think I'll have that nervous breakdown (from flashing the BIOS), that I've been holding back.
