Glad to hear you're warming up & getting above freezing. Saw on the news, lots of broken water pipes in TX, now people have to deal with a lack of water as well as cold temps.

Ours seems to be content staying in, although when my Wife goes to sit on the front porch she goes out there with her & plays with the squirrels. My Wife puts out nuts for them, they come up & the cat play chases them. When kittys not around, the squirrels come up & take the nuts right from my Wifes hand.

Kittys 3rd time seeing snow, so pretty sure she's getting used to it by now.
My pipes never froze but I have almost no water pressure due to all the other broken pipes I check my water meter readings to se if I had a silent broken pipe with the very low pressure you cannot hear it and I only used 20 gallons yesterday. Penguin came back in and went to his bed he does not like the wet cold either.

    Won't stop until Friday sometime.
Good morning, Bob. It's 31° heading for at least 33° and maybe some thawing. We have a nice, stiff breeze blowing snow off the tree limbs. Gonna be mostly sunny today and tomorrow with temps steadily rising. Rain showers on Sunday, maybe melt the rest of the snow.

Thanks folks. More a glancing cut but a good size

Telehealth had me take off dressing and wash it for five minutes with soap and water. Ouch.

Said if I can control bleeding then no stitches.

Holding pressure on it after redressing.

geez how stupid. They say don't cut towards yourself. I know that.
Can you put butterfly bandages on it, Ken? You can make one with plain tape, or even a bandaid. Just notch out the middle and pull it tight enough to close the cut. You probably already know this, but just in case . . .

We all do things we wish we hadn't Ken. Years and years ago, I backed a lawnmower over my foot. Luckily, I kept the toe and only a few stitches were needed. I knew better too, but, well . . .

Thanks Wynona. Fortunately we had some bandages that looked sort of like that . It did pull it closed.

I just checked and the bleeding has not soaked through bandage so I'm going to live.

My wife said I guess you won't do that again.

I looked at her and said "You can't be sure of that"
