I am sorry but I'm too knackered to follow that up with the customary amusing comment. I've been busy fault-finding a batch file that has been giving upexpected results with a new SD card and it turns out that either I am an idiot or MS hates me.
[The batch file checks the drive label before writing to it. The new drive was labelled correctly in File explorer by selecting the drive and typing in the name I wanted. But it turns out that not all commands & Windows utilities recognise a drive label unless it has been set in its Properties dialog instead.]
Denis
I'm not in front of my PC, to test it, but would it work if you try the GUID instead of the name? In Powershell at least, is the preferable method!....Just a thought

Never before heard of it myself, but I received a promotional message from Macecraft, provider of jv16 PowerTools.
They're hawking ransomware protection. Is it, or is it likely to be, any good?
