Okay, here's my intro. Just celebrated another birthday, way too many to tell. I'm a retired software engineer, retired horse and goat breeder, retired hypnotist, retired alternative health practitioner, but not yet retired from life. My only animal now is a Sheltie and I think he thinks he's second fiddle to my computer (some things do grab my attention more when it's cold outside).

You are my friend for life! lol! BTW, horses and goats get along famously. BTW, the date stamp is wrong. I hadn't set it when I uploaded to my computer.

Morning Thomas. I seem to remember reading that 32bit is being phased out. Can't remember where though. You are on the current Beta though. RTM, RP and Beta are all the same atm.

Just finished level 8 (2nd quest)... that's the one the has NINE secret passages. LOL








It has some seriously evil rooms. The RED bubble creatures (who can't be killed or harmed), make your sword cease to function. The BLUE bubble creatures, return the sword's function.

If you follow the rooms around, you'll see some that are filled with RED bubbles. If one touches you, you need to find a BLUE bubble to fix your sword.
Worst part is... that in the later rooms, with RED bubbles, you have to DO 2 or 3 things before you leave the room...all without bumping into a RED bubble.

Did I mention that they are all moving while your trying to do these things.

It's enough to drive a person crazy.. LOL

Btw, the secret passages are all labeled with letters. you go in letter A for example... you come out the OTHER letter A, etc., etc., etc.

It's actually pretty addicting. This is a thinking man's game.
You have to stand in the doorway (safely) and watch the monsters for a bit. Also you can sometimes USE the way the room is arranged, to help kill the monsters.


Like check out these two rooms...

On the left.. we have those orange guys. Out of all the weapons we have, nothing can harm them... except bombs.
You have to drop a bomb right in front of their face... then they eat it, and it explodes.
It takes two bombs to kill ONE of those guys.

But, all three are moving all over, and touching them uses up your life... AND, those squares in the corner are shooting fire balls at you. IF you are facing the fire ball, your shield will block it. If you're facing any other direction... they hurt.

It took me 16 bombs to kill three of those critters. It should have taken only 6, (two each). But every time a fire ball hits you it knocks you around.


Now the room on the right has RED and BLUE bubbles, and those hand things.
Every time you touch the wall, one of those hand things comes out of the wall. If it grabs you.. it takes you back to the start of the dungeon.
Ofc, they are pretty easy to kill, BUT, the RED bubbles keep making your sword useless, till you touch a BLUE bubble.
Also, one of the tools of the game is the ladder. It means I can stand on the water in the right hand room.
None of THOSE monsters can cross the water.

Some other monsters can, but the exasperation, of those RED bubbles, is insane. LOL






If all that isn't enough...there's the doors. The door on the far left is a shutter. It won't open until you kill the monsters in the room. AND you can't hide in that doorway. The door in the middle is a key door. You can open it with a key.
AND you can stand safely IN that doorway once it's opened.
You can't take damage when in a doorway, but you can't hurt anything either.

The hole in the wall on the far right is a doorway made with a bomb. Only some walls can be bombed, and there's no way to tell which, except try them. You can't stand in bomb doorways either.



The door on the far far left, in the room that you can't see...is a regular open doorway. You can stand in there and rest or watch the monsters, and figure out how to get past them... etc.

Some good news this morning. The Oxford/AZ COVID vaccine has been approved in the UK. This is much easier to handle and a considerably cheaper one than the Pfizer vaccine. We have 100 million doses ordered, enough to vaccinate every adult in the UK.
