According to a Met office guy a week or so ago - statistically, its more likely in the UK to have a white Easter than a White Christmas
Except some gold fish I never bought a house pet. It's always a rescue cat or dog but mostly they came by themselves. Twice my dog Snoopy brought in a kitten he found on the street, one he actually brought it in his mouth and once alerted me to it. He just loves cats and some even slept on him.
Last year one of my cats called Auntie died but she helped me raise at least 20 kittens in last 10 years that were too small to raise by hand although she never had her own. Real "nanny cat". I don't know nothing about this guy's history but judging by his shape, slightly thin but otherwise clean and in good shape and unbelievably lovable, must have been left or kicked out somewhere around here from a home. He's about 6-8 month old so I doubt he got lost because of "February urges".
