I decided that I would donate an old camera system of mine to my local Wildlife trust - so I called in and was asked if i minded if they passed on my gift to them to someone deserving. I said yes and so one Sony A55v DSLR, A wide angle and telephoto zoom, a bag and the bits and pieces needed to use the kit is now owned by a young orphan teenager who is in the foster system and has very little but still finds time to volunteer with the Trust
Good for you, sir. Society in general, needs more caring people.
I'm confident, your act of generosity, will be much appreciated.

I've been awaiting the get vaccinated, mainly because I can't visit my native Finland before it. Got first shot 12 days ago. It caused such serious allergic reactions with high fever, that my doc refuses to allow the second shot. Luckily, no other issues like blood clotting, at least for now. I am currently awaiting clearance for the Johnson & Johnson's single-dose variant.

Last day off before I go back to work. I'm going to walkup to the fish and chip shop, sit on the patio, have a couple of Guinness and some fish and chips.
As of today I celebrate my 10th year clean and sober! Or that translates into 3,653 days/24 hours. It's such a great feeling that I've made it this far.. Without AA this couldn't have occurred.
And the great support I get from Erin is a huge...
