Kind of hoping the number of issues will shrink as Win 10 matures and passes into eventual obsolescence.. perhaps upgrades will become less challenging with Win 11 around.

No chance! Have you visited Seven Forums recently? If anything, problems get harder to solve now that MS won't look into any new ones. Even Vista Forums still gets questions to solve.....
