Yikes! For day time max temperatures, that would be well below normal for the region I'm in!
Even a forecast of 58 F, is depressing for here!
The chilliest Mays on record:
2003=It was cloudy and wet, which kept the daily temps below normal, often!
2006=Chilly, because it was the wettest May I can remember! May 13 and May 14 were days that had flooding in parts of the northeast U.S.
2013=Record low max temp of 45 F on May 25, 2013!

Our normal, is probably more like 2.5 inches or somewhat less. Looks like the ballpark of roughly 2.5 inches or near there.
Definitely not 8 inches like what was reported for May, 2006, IIRC!
