Morning Borg. Any appointments lined up this week?

Interesting Keith, the officials made them turn them down? I must google that. Would like to understand that.

    Good morning / afternoon all.

We're in the mid 30's with snow mixed with rain coming down right now. Might get some accumulations later on, so they say.
Good morning Borg ....its 30° here and might get to 35° later.

No, they did it themselves to ensure reliability. There were issues with the MGUK, the kinetic energy recovery system. I think they were past their use by date and they didn't want to suffer the grid penalties a change would incur.

    Morning Mike

Just read an article from Honda on the MGU-K and the other systems. Simple but a good start for an explanation.

I just never knew. Amazing tech in these vehicles. Then I read about Mercedes in PlanetF1.

So much info at our finger tips.

    Morning Ken, nice avatar.

Nothing major as far as I know.

Our neighbors brother passed away on Sat, complications due to Covid. He was in a nursing home & had breathing problems. He was 86.

    Sorry to hear that Borg.

Crazy times. I was reading business section last week and they were talking about funeral homes being a good place to invest. Honestly, in these times, recommending to people how to make money from a pandemic. Guess it is their job but sad.

Looks like London is going into the highest tier of Lockdown from Wednesday. I'm about a mile outside of London not sure what level I'll get.

They extended the lockdown around me. This only made sense as everyone was driving from the lockdown area to the unlocked area.

All this means is that people have to just go a little further east, west or north.

Unless they take our cars away this isn't going to work. I'm still only 25 minutes away from a very large town that is unlocked.
