We are on cat sitting duty.


Holiday Monday here. Out neighbours returned from their weekend camping trip yesterday. As one would expect pretty soggy as it rained for twelve hours here. I haven't camped in forty plus years, last time I did we were rained out.


Seems as though wasps gone, no activity in or out. Will likely have to hit them again in five - seven days as the newly hatched emerge.

Well I hit the nest with more Dichotomous Diatomaceous Earth. One stumbled out, covered, flew three yards and crashed. It was covered, must have been guard wasps. Crappy job.

Heading out for a drive.

The Diatomaceous Earth will get 'em. It does take a while to work, since it has to get inside their joints, so if this is a second application, it's probably doing its job.

Morning Ken. My neighbour put up a tent in her garden over the weekend. I didn't ask.

Morning Wynona. The packaging says ant killer but ut works on all types of insects. Makes the wasps crazy mad.



Afternoon Keith. I expect we will see tents out tomorrow drying, the sleeping bags are drying over porch railing.


The only way to camp is a Winnebago. Something like this.
