I have a central unit it is a ground source heat pump in the winter it gets heat from the ground even if the temps outside is 32° the ground is 70° in the summer it dumps the heat in the ground because the ground is 70° and the outside air is 90+° makes the unit super efficient my electric bill in the summer are no more than $90 with the winter being cheaper.
Morning Josey.
Well were are heading out for a walk through the woods. Hopefully not to hot.
I'll be taking a litter bag and a glove. Beyond me why people litter on a forest path, bad enough they do it on the roads.
Really like to catch one and give them a shake.
Yes it is your expensive season is winter here the expensive season is summer with window units my bills would be triple what I pay now and with bigger homes it can run up to 5 or 6 hundred a month. My AC is a 3.5 ton unit. The biggest problem I have is the Humidity I have a big dehumidifier running during the honey harvest I bring it down to 40% it can be 80° in there and you walk in from the outside when the outside temp is 75° and you can feel the difference it seems colder when you walk in.
Here too Mike so we don't go early and we don't go late. Enough sun to keep the little biters down.
Tic's are bad news here, spreading Lyme disease.
Your temps Charlie are just to hot. See they are suggesting that the high temps in Arizona have everyone inside with no fresh air causing some of the C-19 spike. No winning.
