I now have to start getting a regular test. New rules say to visit my mom I must be tested 14 days prior to my visit.


Well that is silly. I could get tested, three days get infected, seven days later be at peak on contagion and see my mum the next day. (assuming I was asymptomatic) and if I had a fever or any other symptom I wouldn't visit regardless of test results.

We really need a test they can perform, with results, say an hour before visit.

Its still kinda hard to find places that are testing around my area, unless you see your doc ...

I agree, Ken. They do have tests that can give results in 5 minutes, but I don't know how accurate they are.
