Afternoon Keith. How you keeping today?

I have a remote support session with Macrium at 9:00. They want to look at the scheduling issue on my wife's laptop.

Afternoon Paul. Have they given an official date for restaurants to open? Think I saw things would be relaxing mid June in the UK. They aren't even discussing restaurants opening here for sit down.
No date yet Ken. You can only get takeaways. Latest is open air markets and car lots can open 1st June. All retail outlets that are not already open with a few exceptions 15th June.

    Hi Ken
Not seen anything on restaurants and pubs, so doubt these will be open for a while

From what i can see (taken from another site), these will be open, though some of these are allowed now

    • food retailers
    • chemists
    • hardware/homeware stores
    • fashion shops
    • charity shops
    • betting shops and arcades
    • tailors, dress fitters and fashion designers
    • car dealerships
    • auction houses
    • antique stores
    • retail art galleries
    • photography studios
    • gift shops and retail spaces in theatres, museums, libraries, heritage sites and tourism sites
    • mobile phone stores
    • indoor and outdoor markets
    • craft fairs

Wonder how long that will last (pub wise), from what i remember they removed the requirement of needing a license to operate as a takeaway, at some point this will come back

Well do it early Mike or it will be stinking hot.

I don't think they will find anything Keith. They keep saying it is Windows Task Scheduler. Think they are doing this to keep me happy.

That is a pretty good list Paul. Our government is talking about slowing down openings. We in Ontario haven't got our stuff in order, cases have plateaued but should be decreasing. Absolute nonsense.

They won't say with any specifics where outbreaks are occurring but in big round terms they do published numbers. Unfortunately one of the bad areas is right next door to me.

My friend will be pleased to see auction houses open. His business depends on it.
