I did read something about a month ago, they were asking the streaming sites to reduce the quality of the movies to 720 or lower so that all the extra traffic wouldn't slow/break the net.

But there probably are a lot of folks live streaming events this weekend instead of actually going.

No live events to go to in the UK. The sports channels have been rerunning the 1995 European Cup and the 2012 Olympics.

We saw something last night that said one of the sports channels was so desperate they were streaming marble races....seriously...

They probably have some live events streaming here I'm sure.
