Well got a little done outside. Then the car place called about wife's car.

Broken spring front driver side. A broken spring on a five year old car that has 125,000 Km (78,000 Miles). Sure the roads are rough but honestly what kind of crap steel are they using. Won't get car back until Tuesday at the earliest.
What that was Ken, is a broken strut , when you buy a PAIR of them for front end, they come with a coil spring on them.
I only replace mine in pairs. But its unusual for one of those springs to break, I've never had one break.

    Yes Charlie having both replaced.

Not sure Keith, our roads suffer with the freeze thaw but this is the first car that has ever needed a spring / strut.

Thanks Mike I'll ask them again when I pick up. They just said spring replacement. Yes doing the pair.

On a more disturbing front, 2/3 of the C-19 cases in Ontario have an unknown origin. To say tracing is going poorly would be an understatement. We've also fallen behind in testing people. Two full months after the shutdown started our provincial government is in the dark with a blind fold on.

Guess I'm lucky, never had any serious issues with Macrium on either of my rigs ....even one of my older ones too.

And if I did ....TC would have told me how to fix it anyhow.

Finally done with errands and what not. The tint I had put on my car last week, still had a couple bubbles so I went back and had them redo it. I went a shade darker this time also. You can barely see anything from outside the car now unless there is major light coming in through the windshield
