    Morning OM & Sammy.

We had that last weekend, felt like summer, past few days have felt like fall, cool weather & wind/rain.

Congrats @thomaseg1 on winning #167, your coupon for a case of best selling flavored toothpastes selection from Japan, including squid, wasabi, horse meat & cherry blossom flavor, or a DVD featuring details on how Credit card RFID chips are secretly reading your mind is on it's way.

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

In the mid 40's with a shower here & there. Never got out of the 50's yesterday, so looks like we're back to the warm/cold crap again. Should warm up gradually for the weekend, so they say now...
Morning Borg. High 70's here. Going to be a bit cooler tomorrow.

    Good day all.

Really nice day here, going to anchor or gazebo to deck this morning and put the canvass roof on it.

Sorry to hear TC needs another procedure. Hope all goes well.

    @Wynona

Not sure how to answer question from yesterday. Maybe people see WinRe and its associated partition in 10 and think that is when RE started. According to MS the Recovery Environment was available in 7 although it did not create the partition. As I read it RE is a subset of PE. See the heading more information in this article.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/...-7-and-windows

Along came 10 and they made the RE more robust and planted the partition to ensure easy access. Notice first paragraph in this article is very much like the "More Information" paragraph in the Win 7 article.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...ical-reference

Both appear to be based on PE environment.

Found this on Toms Hardware. Brief comparison.

    Afternoon kado.

I guess you could call this a "slow spring," at least here. Still, glad to hear the weather is somewhat beter.

I see they'll be streaming the solstice from Stonehenge this year instead of allowing gatherings. I would say that's for the best.

    Morning Ken.

Did a store run this morn, got in/out as fast as possible. Still a bit nerve wracking going out, 16 deaths in the area & over 150 cases.

Morning Ken. Not sure I understood what @Wynona was asking either, but If they created a recovery disk before the WinRE option was available it will continue to offer the same WinPE version as the default until you create a WinRE disk.
