Thanks Borg and Bob. Surgeon is not 100% sure on the fusion and says won't really know until he gets in there. MRI shows a gnarled mess. Iffy she will come home same day.

Thanks, it's a yearly check to see if any new masses are growing. Since I've had cancer, there's a chance it can return, so they keep an eye on me.
Good thought & prayers to your daughter all goes well. Hopefully they don't have to do a fusion.
I was in shock when my Wife was in recovery & they walked in & said around 3 hrs after she got out of surgery "OK, she can go home in about an hour." I was like "Are you sure she's the right patient?" They're like "Oh yeah, this is normal for most people."
