Actually so far its been a mild winter as far as how much snow I've got here. Up north in Maine, they have got lots.

Yeah, pretty mild here too compared to the norm. I'm enjoying it.....but like I said earlier....it ain't over yet.

I not as concerned about going outside as they will salt the roads many times.

It is the lost of power that has me concerned. It is a huge area and last time we had an ice storm, a really bad ice storm, people were without power for at least a week.

Yep, that's always an issue, ice means downed trees & power lines...

We had snow storm a few years ago, right before Halloween, leaves were still on the trees, so that was a disaster over 3 or 4 states. We were without power for 3 days.

Last time I lost power due to an ice storm it was in 1998, we lost our power for 12 days back then. But I had a generator that I bought just the year before. It can power 70% of the house.
