My wife wants WhatsApp installed on her iPhone 3G however when trying to install it from the App Store she gets the message that she must be running iOS 4.3 (or 4.4, can't remember) or higher. Currently she's on 4.2 (I think). Her phone is jailbroken so we can pretty much do to it whatever we want. There is an app on there called Cydia which apparently is used for upgrades but I really don't know. Any help would be appreciated...

    Cheers

You really need to get it updated to the latest iOS7 to ensure compatibility going forward, I've never jailbroken any of my Apple devices so I don't know how you would do the update, but if you are going to do an update you might as well make it to the latest.
