Well Macrium just failed me. I lent a machine out and when I got it back I thought I would restore from a clean copy. Older machine that I installed an old SSD in. Gets to 2% and fails to "The handle is invalid", clear that and get "Error Code 8", clear that and log records "Read Failed 55, the specified Network device is no longer available".

The is no network involved, tried two different drive caddies. Finally removed SSD and replaced with spinner. All good.

I then cloned to the SSD and booted from it.

Old hardware, bad drivers or new glitch in program. To be determined... or forgotten.
