I remember reading something that happened in London I believe, about someone seeing the ghosts of some Roman soldiers walking, but the portion below their knees was not there. They dug & found an old road the Romans built 2 or 3 feet under the dirt.
Just weird.
But yeah, that location makes it less likely anything was hanging around.
It's in Northamptonshire so there were battles near there. The battle of Bosworth was almost the last battle in the Wars of the Roses between the houses of York & Lancaster. King Richard III was killed there. They recently found his body when they dug up a car park in Leicester which is not far away. There were also Civil War battles near there.

Some Good Questions to ask yourself is "Do I really need a 10 second startup?" "Whatever for?"
"Why am I in such a hurry?" "Am I really so lazy I can't save my work before I shut down?"
" What happens to my work if the hybrid hibernation fails?"
I don't ever use hibernation! Too many horror stories out there in the wild.
Also, there are those who have problems with Fast Startup, and there are those (Me) who have never had a problem with Fast Startup. And, BTW, on all new computers Fast Startup is activated and I hardly ever change the default settings.
Here's the thing . . .
That 10 or 5 seconds isn't for Faster Startup per se. For me, it's timing to allow me to decide which which partition I want to boot into. If I don't choose within that 5 or 10 seconds, Windows will do the job for me and choose my default partition.
Say, for instance, I know I want to boot into my default Production partition this morning. I can just punch the button and go for a cuppa. But say I decided to boot into Fast/Skip and got distracted. Oops! If I have the setting at 5 or 10, I'll probably miss the boot screen; Windows takes over and I'm in Production.
So, there are pros and cons about almost anything you do with a computer. As they say, damned if I do and damned if I don't . . . 10 seconds . . . 30 seconds . . . leave the defaults . . . customize to my liking . . . Laziness has nothing to do with it . . .

Well then I suppose it is possible somethings hanging around.
People claim that they regularly see apparitions on the old civil war battlefields in Maryland. Never been there.
But we have been to some of the local cemeteries, they have some very old & elaborate headstones there. Taken a lot of pics, but looking at all of them, never seen anything questionable or weird in them.

I never use it only any of our PC's/Lappys. It has caused some issues for us in the past. Turn the screen off after 10 mins, sure. But that's about it.

Yeah, it's surely can go that way. Forecast looks like an EKG, 80's for a couple days, low 70's for a couple, back to 80's, etc. Don't be surprised if it does hit the 90's. I actually expect it.
Good morning, Borg.
Looks like we're due a bit of relief here, but once we start getting used to it, up the scale it goes again! Sheesh!
Edit: I don't know how that other attachment got there; I thought I removed it, but guess not. Those temps from late August/early September never materialized. They stayed in the 90s!

I guess you all get the same weather we do in the fall, one day hot, one day cool, repeat until middle of October
Hope you get some steady temps soon. Yeah, no fun with the up/down weather. My Wife's not too happy about it either, some days make her sore.
We had one day a couple days before Halloween a few years back where we got like 4" of wet, heavy snow. That made a huge mess bringing down all the tree limbs since it was a warm year & the leaves were mostly still on the trees.
Then a few years back we had a Halloween where it was in the 80's on that day.

Good morning/afternoon/evening folks. How is everyone?
It’s a cloudy, grey 19°F/-7°C. Warming to 21°F/-6°C today. Duplicate of yesterday. We had a couple more of inches of snow last night.
I see the East Coast is getting hammered. Hope y'all...
