So tended to my house work. Then updated a bunch of Sumo identified items.

Three are Asus and while they say there are updates they are not listed under my motherboard. Not sure about downloading from Sumo site.

Thoughts ??

If they are not listed for your MB then safest not to.

SUMo is not 100% correct sometimes, if those updates are not listed on Asus site for your motherboard, leave it the heck alone!!!

I didn't think SUMo did drivers. I thought that was DUMo. I don't touch that.

Some of the packages for your Asus MB are both driver and software.

Like the Intel IRST. It has a driver and a software component. Likely the same for MemTweakIt. I don't use it but must have come with Asus suite but Asus suite does not update MemTweakIt.


Mike have you install ed the newest BIOS 2102. For my board it says it was released in July 2019, think you are Maximus Apex X which has a BIOS with same number and date.

I don't think Ken meant drivers Keith, their are also software apps from ASUS too. But they are also offered on their site under whatever model board you have. Plus SUMo is not always correct either, they can tell you you have a new update, when there is NO new update at all.

No Ken I have not updated my bios, I do have the latest update d/l ....but I am 2 versions behind right now. Mainly for overclocking reasons.
