Evening Andre. This device is booting Legacy. It says it will boot from USB harddrive but thumb drive does not show.


The partition is marked Active.

Have you tried the F2, F8 or whatever the key is to see the menu while booting?

Yes AD. HP it is F9.

It lists USB Harddrive. If I select one I get message

Remove media and click any key to restart. If I click any key it boots to Windows on SSD

Truly weird. I haven't much of an issue with booting from USB. Sounds to me though like some sort of security setting......

Checked, secure boot and Fast Boot disabled.

Something to experiment with.
