Would Amazon keep a bad record of me if I return a product?

Bought something from Amazon but the outer box is quite bad on arrival. It's a toy so the condition of the outer box is also important. I am thinking if I should return, but I've heard that Amazon may keep a bad record or return rate , something, every time a customer returns a product. Does anyone know if it's real? In that case, I just keep it and don't return, since Amazon will probably assume that the condition of outer box is not their responsibility.

There will always be a record of anything returned. I’m not aware of a customer black list for anyone with the occasional return - it’s your consumer right! If it’s damaged or unopened or not what you expected etc, just arrange a return. I’ve found that they are always helpful and willing to keep their customers happy and never had any issue with returning a product, especially one damaged in transit.
