Sorry to hear that, yeah, I imaging they can be quite a PIA for the buzzers.
At least this one is out of the way of the Bumblebees. We have some yellow flowers on the hillside & there is constant activity all through the summer on those flowers. Bumblebees love them. Non stop visitations all day long. Neat to watch.
Make a nice pet and keep the flying insect population down.Soo this morn my Wife goes out on the back porch, lets out a yell & comes running back in saying there's something big on the porch. She meant a spider. It wasn't even near the door, it was at the end of the porch.
But yeah, it is about 4 inches long, but pretty neat looking. Took a pic. She wants it gone. I said they help the environment & I was going to give it a name & start feeding it.
She's less then happy.....

I never kills spiders and they don't kill me.
If found in the house in the summer they are exited outside, if the winter they are banished to the basement. We don't have a bug problem.

That's what I told her, they catch flying bugs. Not going to keep it in anything, it can stay out there & do it's job. Pretty neat colors.
That one's not even dangerous. Hell, I had 2 Tarantulas in SoCali so that's small compared to what I used to have as pets. Had one that liked to ride on my shoulder when I went to the store.
Stopped taking him out after me & my Wife went to a restaurant & I had him on my shirt. Waitress came out with a tray full of food, stopped & said "What an interesting pin." She went to touch it, his leg went up, she screamed, food went everywhere & we had to leave the restaurant.....
