Check the little slide bar on the side of it - sometimes that gets moved unintentionally. If not, then the card is failing - get everything off it ASAP.

Yeah I already checked that switch ....guess I got to buy a new one...

Relating to SD cards, android has been not letting us move apps to the sd card over the last couple versions. I believe it is a tactic to buy a phone with more storage. Glad I have one with over 11GB free. If it would let me move apps to my 64GB SD card, I would have around 18, but I will never use up the 11+ I have free lol.

Yeah, it's failing. Get the stuff off there right away before it fails to read.

I think you can do it if you enable developer mode.
