    Afternoon AD

    Afternoon Wynona

That is a very nice walking trail our tax dollars built, got a little buggy once you were right into the forest, kept us moving.

    Morning Doug

The other day I went to the store to get some USB sticks for boot media. Use to be you could buy three Lexar's 16GB for $25. Now three 32GB are $19.

Would like 4GB sticks ( or smaller ) but they just don't carry them in the stores anymore. Went to Amazon and they carry but plenty of negative comments on brands I've never heard of.

    Any recommendations?
With the price of 32 GB, it's not even feasible for me to bother looking for 4 GB ones. I've given all mine away, except for one that was hiding in my desk drawer. :)

I don't buy off-brand sticks at all; when I need one, I want to be sure it's gonna work. Oh, yeah, though, Onn is a fairly decent brand.

    Good morning/afternoon, folks.

It's 80°, cloudy and a slight chance of Tstorms. Not likely, though. Gonna get up to 84°! Not too shabby.
    Afternoon Wynona, Gracie, and Lucy.

    Thanks Wynona.

Knowing they will work is especially important since I will use some as boot disks for Macrium.

Ah. I was wondering what you were going to use those for.

I use SanDisk, Ken. Well the recent ones anyway. I have a PNY that has held up for a long time which I use as my Win10 install USB. I keep the Macrium wristband I got in the MR Q&A win for my MR needs. I use the current two SanDisk for other uses which I need about 10x the amount of the MR and Win10. They keep holding up fine. I noticed a couple bad reviews on them but I got them on sale at the time. 3 of the 32GB SanDisk USB drives which are still kicking and doing a great job. I think they were like 7 bux each at the time.

EDIT: I got 3 of the 32GB SanDisk but one of them was for a friend who told me the other day it is still doing great.
