How does one upload pictures directly from the PC.
I just saw Shawns tut. Tried to drop a picture. It did show up (in huge). But I lost all controls and could not post. Had to go back to square 1.
Let me try from Firefox in Linux.
Hmm, this time I got to upload it but got the message "Upload to large". It was a 30KB picture. How small does it have to be.
I struggled with this too at first... don't know what I am doing differently but it works fine now...
For most of us, it's possible that you might want to share a picture on several different forums.
It's easiest if you just sign up with a sharing web site, like "Photobucket" and up load your pictures there, after cropping and resizing them on your own PC. (I use the free program "Photo Filtre" for that purpose, so that no picture exceeds 750k)
Then in Photobucket, you just Right Click on and copy the IMG link to the picture and paste it into the forum.
Then when someone reads your post, VOILA there is your picture, right where you put it.
There!
Cheers Mate!

Then clikc "Full image"

....
Ill try that. Thanks.
And regarding Photobucket or ImageShack - I have thousands of picturesd parked there. They now want money from me because I have too many.
But the uploads I am talking here about are usually only one time pics to explain a certain setting or so.
Bravo, this time it worked. I seem to be a slow learner.
I grabbed those tutorial shots and posted them while replying to your question. :)whs, post: 3740, member: 58 said:
