Back to ???forums.com after 11 years! Win 10 Enterprise on a Netbook!

    Hey,

So a long time ago I started laying around with leaked builds of Windows 7 on sevenforums.

Here is my account: win7's Seven Forums Profile

When windows 8 came I started to hate windows and it's only recently I've enjoyed Windows 10 builds like I used to windows 7 builds. Even on a low spec net book I'm playing with (Toshiba BN300).

So how are you guys? What apps or hardware are sparking your interest right now?

PS: Does anyone remember me from sevenforums???

For some reason I though you were giving away 10 netbooks.

Haha, no. Just make some evolve. I have few other cheap ones on the way with minor faults. I'll make a load of nice ones up. Keep the best and sell the rest. A lot of these Toshiba netbooks were sold in bulk buy schools, especially the NB300. Just a hobby I buy them from eBay sellers mostly..

Just need to check batteries, see which hold charge, update bios, OS etc.. get it running smoothly.

This one is holding loads luckily.. but I can't imagine using the model with 1gb ram and a HDD.

Win 10 Enterprise x64 running smoothly on a netbook though. I'll tweak further soon.

XP used to be bad enough, Linux was the only sensible choice.

Thanks. Were you here in the leaked Windows 7 build days? So much fun and excitement.

And an actual improvement over Vista. 8 killed the fun for me, until 10 insider previews now.

I do miss the look of 7 though I can't lie, but functionality/usability wise I'm happy again from 1903.

You might press the Windows key and R, type winver, will give more details about the Version and Build number. Build is similar to a service pack but more frequent.

Yeah I know this, thanks though.

I'm using retail build on my main machine and fast lane insiders on netbook/laptop.

I'm normally like "**** it" but got a few online businesses and can't risk main OS with insiders.

I'm impressed though, it's running well on a low spec notebook 13". Had to revert back to 7 on 10" netbook.

Things are finally getting good again, I feel we had a decade dead patch where Windows basically sucked.
