    New PC arriving this week

I joined forum way back when it was still 9 Forums, before Windows 10 wa released. I didn't really like 10 so I managed to stick with 7 up until this point. Unfortunately my PC is dying and the new one being delivered this week has 10 installed.

I should be happy about with the new PC.... but the 10 thing...

Honestly, I would pass on the HP, if you can.

I recommend this with an SSD:

USA based support is extra. Customize it on their website.

    OK...

    What CPU? RAM? SSD? VIDEO?

How much $$$? Everyone has a budget.

P.S. HP has a lot of bloatware.

@bigseb - you will adapt to W10. Takes a bit of getting used to. That's why we are here.

@bigseb, hope you enjoy the new PC. As far as Windows 10, you will get used to it. There are some growing pains with any new OS. I wasn't too fond of 10 when it first came out. After using it for about 2 weeks I went back to my Windows 7 install. I had to think about how to do things again. It was like Windows 7 was the new OS.

Use the HDD as a second drive. Check with Crucial on their SSD.

    Memory is OK.

    Enjoy!
