Humidity was down here too, Doug. It was still hotter'n hades. By the time I fed and watered the chickens and watered my coleus on Gracie's wall, I was dripping.

It's gonna be pretty nice for the next few days here.

Fresh eggs, but not fried chicken. I only have three layers and one free loader (got old) since the varmints got most of 'em last year. I get three eggs a day, and they pile up so fast, I have to sell some. I have a couple customers who take most of them and I still have more than I can eat.

The free loader will live out her life with the rest of 'em. She laid her share of eggs when she was younger.

Oh, yeah, my chicken pen is now more secure than Ft. Knox!
