We had our temps in the 70s a couple days last week. Gonna get up to 93° today, which is our normal temp for summertime. Not much rain in sight for awhile, but that's OK. Our break in the weather comes Monday with a little rain and much better temps for the rest of the week.

Windows closed, blinds down. Going to be massive draw on electrical grid today. I was at Bruce Nuclear the other day and did the site tour. Amazing plant, they say it is the largest nuclear site in the world. Didn't fact check, there are eight reactors. They have their own Swat team and they always place very high in the Swat competitions. Good to know. Place will be humming today.

This isn't gmail, vendor supplied email account from Bell. I saw that on Gmail and think you also have to change some settings in chrome, at least that is what I thought I read.

I set Chrome as the default and with Libre Office I tried send to email and got "No email client installed"

That's interesting. It fails for me too. I'm sure it worked on W7. Have to investigate.

It would be really interesting to do a tour, a real tour, of any generation plant. The two I've been on are basically drive through or point at things of interest. I did the Hoover Dam when I was in Las Vegas and the Sir Adam Beck off the Niagara River.

I really can't believe in this day and age, and with all the fanfare of Windows 10, you can't even point to the Windows 10 default app. At least I can't get that to work either.

I think what I had working in W7 was mailto:. That also works in W10.

Thanks for the comments simrick. I too, have never been able but this customer swears it use to work. One thing I have going for me is the old computer is there. I'm going to use the Missouri line "Show me".


Well my sister in-law gave my wife this clump of material that allows you to grow your own mushrooms at home. Sounds innocent enough and they grow quick. Well part of any growth cycle is reproducing. I just went over to the sink in the basement and found this thick layer of spores everywhere. Radiates out at least two feet.

Guess what is going outside ??

I guess MS doesn't really want to address this in the hopes people subscribe to Office. Crazy position with all the other mail clients out there that are free. Apple mail works as a client on the Mac. Another blotch in the MS product design for Universal apps.
