Good morning, folks. It's 82° with sunshine this morning. I know it's not going to last, but them's the breaks.
Although Arkansas is way up North of Louisiana, it looks like I'll be affected somewhat; I found a 3-hour-old pic of what may be Barry's track North, and it looks like my area will be either in the 2-4" or 4-6" rainfall area.
At any rate, I'm pretty sure it will be much later than landfall when Barry makes his way here. And, since I'm on the side of a hill, I'm pretty sure no water will get this high, but the ditch in front of my property has been filled with mud the past week (must be something they're doing up"stream") so that will fill fast. Even if I should shovel the mud out from in front of the culvert, it would probably fill right back up.
I have groceries and canned good to see me through, if my driveway gets flooded and I can't get out.
Edit: Well, things aren't working, so I don't seem to be able to post the pic.
Good luck to @
Beeman and the bees. Good luck to @Bat too.
