Good Day everybody have been tying up a few things so they don't blow around so far the storm is not dropping any rain here yet so far only 6 hundreds of an inch but that will change as the forecast is constantly changing.

Good morning, folks. It's 82° with sunshine this morning. I know it's not going to last, but them's the breaks.

Although Arkansas is way up North of Louisiana, it looks like I'll be affected somewhat; I found a 3-hour-old pic of what may be Barry's track North, and it looks like my area will be either in the 2-4" or 4-6" rainfall area.

At any rate, I'm pretty sure it will be much later than landfall when Barry makes his way here. And, since I'm on the side of a hill, I'm pretty sure no water will get this high, but the ditch in front of my property has been filled with mud the past week (must be something they're doing up"stream") so that will fill fast. Even if I should shovel the mud out from in front of the culvert, it would probably fill right back up.

I have groceries and canned good to see me through, if my driveway gets flooded and I can't get out.

Edit: Well, things aren't working, so I don't seem to be able to post the pic.

Good luck to @Beeman and the bees. Good luck to @Bat too.

Thanks Folks. Got a little 2500W continuous 110V only generator that'll keep the TVs and computers running. Sent the BatWife to Super 1 in Opelousas for one last food run before they "Curfew" the roads in St. Landry Parish at noon. Guess we'll be cooking Ramen Noodles and MRE's for the next two days.
BAT! Been thinking about you and Beeman with this storm....hope it passes quickly and doesn't linger.

Oh Wynona - I hope you don't get stuck from a flood!

I see it's set to hit us about mid-week. I suspect the worst of it will be the temps and humidity.

Yep but it won't last as most of the bad weather is on the back side of the storm and that will not hit until much later as this storm is moving real SLOW.
